The following is a map of where Elmwood Park was located in 1911 &#8212; on Beech St. While the photo in the previous post lacks clarity, in the image the stairs leading up to the street confirm this space to me. My mother&#8217;s family lived quite close and I grew up hearing this place called the Dingle. Assuming this was part of the park renovation (which I remember hearing was part of the WPA initiative in the 1930&#8217;s) I remember the wonderful walls that were built and extended down Beech St, removed years later when the street added more lanes for traffic flow.
