Elliott D Shaw Dies; Was Retired Florist<\/strong><\/p>\n

Succumbs at Home of Brother in Willimansett After Lingering Illness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elliott Dwight Shaw, 82, for many years a well known florist with place of business on Dwight street, died tonight at the home of his brother, Edwin L. Shaw of 144 Chicopee street, Willimansett, after a lingering illness.<\/p>\n

He was born at Chicopee and operated a florist shop here many years, retiring a number of years ago and selling his business to Miss Georgie Humphrey, who sold it to Miss Sarah Clark. He then moved to Springfield, but of late had made his home with his brother. Mr. Shaw was a member of Mount Tom Lodge of Masons of Holyoke.<\/p>\n

Besides his widow, Mrs. Annie M. (Bingham) Shaw, he leaves to sons, Walter L. of Glendale, Cal., and Luther S., of Cleveland, Oh; his brother, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at Alger’s parlors Monday afternoon at 2 with burial at Forestdale cemetery.<\/p>\n
