Around the same time I also began creating cemetery inventories (a list of names and gravestones in a database) for Holyoke and other cemeteries.<\/p>\n<p>The reason why is pretty simple.   I love Holyoke and like having an element of preservation available to the online community.   For a number of years I maintained genealogical websites for a non-profit national organization that focused on western MA counties.   The sites essentially offered some assistance to people researching from distant locations.   As a genealogy researcher myself, I know how difficult it can be to work on family history from a distance.<\/p>\n<p>Today I want to highlight one online resource you may enjoy looking at,   the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.holyokemass.com\/1924\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Holyoke High School Yearbook for 1924<\/a><\/strong>.
