The John O’Shea Music store founded 70 years ago by the late John O’Shea, has closed its doors. It was one of the oldest music stores in Western Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

Looks like the building was removed a while ago. I have a copy of the 1952 Holyoke telephone directory and there is no listing for Shirl’s Record Whirl, wonder when that store opened and if it was in the same space.<\/p>\n
