Mrs. Ernest Lequin &#8212; nee Mary Harris Smith &#8212; was my grandfather&#8217;s sister, a great-aunt. I welcome communication with anyone who may be related.<\/p>\n<p><strong>19 February 1939<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Holyoke, Feb 18<\/strong> &#8212; The marriage of <strong>Miss Annamae R. Lequin<\/strong>, daughter of <strong>Mr. and Mrs. Ernest P. Lequin<\/strong> of Newton Street, and <strong>John Charles MacFarlane<\/strong> of South Braintree, took place at 7 this morning at the Sacred Heart Church. <strong>Rev. James P. Gilrain<\/strong> performed the single ring service. The couple were attended by <strong>Miss Doris Wiburg<\/strong> and <strong>George M. Turner<\/strong> of Amherst.<\/p>\n<p>There was a wedding breakfast in Beckman&#8217;s Pine room for the immediate family after which the couple left for an unannounced destination. Mrs. MacFarlane was born in Holyoke and educated in the local schools. Mr. MacFarlane was born in Roxbury and was educated in the Braintree schools.
