South Hadley Falls. died at the Holyoke Hospital early this morning after a long illness. He was born in Saltaire, Yorkshire, England, December 12 , 1872, and came to this country 32 years ago. He resided in Holyoke and South Hadley Falls since that time and was employed at the Farr Alpaca company for 30 years. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary (Flaxington) Pickles, one son, Arthur at home; one daughter, Mrs. John E. Mangum of Pittsfield; six grandsons and one granddaughter; four brothers, Constantine, Abraham, William and Roland Pickles all in England; two sisters, Mrs. John Hoag and Mrs. John Firth, both in England, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Manchester Unity of Odd Fellows. The funeral will be held at the Alger funeral home Friday afternoon at 2. Rev Earle W.
