Mr. Inglis has been in poor health for some time and the end came early this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Inglis was a man of strong convictions. A total abstainer he espoused any cause that sought to teach temperance or total abstinence among the growing generation.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Inglis was born in Moffatt, Dumfrieshire, Scotland, July 27, 1864, and for some years was engaged as a porter at Glasgow station. Later he became a fireman and worked at that trade until July, 1886, when he came to this country and settled in Holyoke. He went to work for Glen C. Frissell and was with Mr. Frissell as outside salesman for 12 years. Later he worked for R. H.
