Kroepel<br \/>Holyoke Woman Appointed Registrar of Voters<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Mrs. Emil W. Kroepel Believed to be One of the First to Hold This Office in State<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Holyoke is believed to have one of the first woman registrars of voters in the state in the person of mrs. Harriet W. Kroepel, widow of Alderman Emil W. Kroepel. Mrs. Kroepel is one of the city&#8217;s most entertaining women and has been avtive in a score or more of organizations.<\/p>\n<p>She was in Red Cross activities in the late war; is a member of the Second Congregational Church, Holyoke City Hospital Aid Association, Hampden County Improvement League, Women&#8217;s Relief Corps, National Better Film Commission, and Community Oratorio Society, All Holyoke Open Forum Association, Director of the Associated Charities, President of the Ingleside Parent Teachers&#8217; Association, Corresponding Secretary Ward 3 Improvement League, Vice-President Women&#8217;s Municipal League, bedsides other minor positions.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Kroepel has also served as secretary of the Whiting Street fund commission, and president of the central council, Parent-Teacher&#8217;s Association.
