Osgood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>George V. Osgood, 45, died yesterday afternoon at his home a 5 Harrison Avenue after a four-weeks&#8217; illness of rheumatism, which finally attacked the vital organs. He had been for 12 years connected with the Kennedy &amp; Sullivan manufacturing company, first as book-keepern and later as head book-keeper and confidential clerk. He was of the clerk of the Park Commission and was a prominent member of the Bay State Club, playing on its whist team at times. He was also a member of the Royal Arcaeum and of the Heptasophs. He was a thoroughly reliable man, even tempered and thoroughly liked by his associated, and won and kept friends. Besides his widow, he leaves one sister, Mrs. James Morley of this city,\u00a0 and five children, Edgar, Lyman, Pearl, Fayette and Alice.
