He also admitted a charge of illegal possession of liquor and was fined $100 and given a suspended sentence of three months.<\/p>\n<p>Both men were arrested yesterday afternoon, following raids conducted on their premises in the &#8220;Flats.&#8221; Dent is alleged to be the proprietor of the Oxford Club, where the police seized a small quantity of whiskey. At 63 North East Street, the seizure consisted of 69 bottles of beer, several quarts of whiskey and a nickle and quarter slot machine.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting <strong>Marshal McGarry<\/strong> in the raids were <strong>Capt. Peter A. Cullen<\/strong>, <strong>Inspector Peter Mannin<\/strong>g, <strong>Sergt.
