The first eliminations will be the teams in the zone to which Holyoke belongs, being with Amherst and South Hadley. The date has not been set but the finals are to be given in Westfield. Left to right, <strong>John Hahn, Lois Dawson, Muriel Landers<\/strong> and <strong>Edward Willette<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turners Plan Minstrels &#8212;<\/strong> Friday night the Springfield Turners Minstrel Club will present the ninth annual show at the Turnverein hall on Vernon Street. <strong>Bob Geissler<\/strong> is manager of the production with <strong>Howard Geissler<\/strong>, assistant manager, <strong>William Neumann<\/strong>, treasurer, and <strong>Karl M. Hockmuth<\/strong>, program manager. The setting for the cast will be a Japanese garden, staged and directed by <strong>Rob Geissler<\/strong>, with <strong>Howard Geissler<\/strong> as musical director. <strong>Bruno Lindler<\/strong> will be the interlocutor, and the ends will be <strong>Edward Gottmann<\/strong>, <strong>Edward Boyy, Harold Geiseler<\/strong> <strong>and Peter Vogt<\/strong>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Miss Vera Stratton<\/strong> will conduct the operetta, &#8220;<em>The Strange Visitors<\/em>,&#8221; to be given by a group of parishioners Friday night in the assembly hall of the parish house of the Second Baptist Church. Assisting Miss Stratton are <strong>Miss Fannie Hildreth<\/strong>, <strong>Mrs. Benjamin P. Browne<\/strong>, <strong>Miss Kate Whitmore, Mrs. Merrill Downie<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. Joseph Collingwood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elks Schedule Annual Dance &#8212;<\/strong> Washington Day birthday parties will include the annual dance at the Holyoke Lodge of Elks Club on Tuesday night. Dancing will be enjoyed from 9 until 1, and the affair will be open to members and friends. Harvey J. Hewitt is chairman, assisted by<strong> James J. Murray, Jerome T. Hobert, Clarence J. Bassett, Charles E. Andrue, William M. Moriarty, Charles S. Burnett, George P. Hurley, Lester T. Blais, Joseph P. Dugan<\/strong> and <strong>Murat Rodler<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Judge John Hildreth<\/strong> of the local district court and Mrs. Hildreth will leave on Tuesday for their annual vacation to St. Petersburg, Florida.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mrs. Arthur S.
