At Long Last …

by Laurel | December 4th, 2013

Hello my friends!

After so many months I am back to blogging for as long as possible.

Apologies for my lack of attention, but the tourist season here in Finger Lakes wine country in central New York state was very busy. A few weeks ago I tallied up some of the work related tasks here at the B & B and at that time was able to say I had washed, dried and ironed 577 sets of sheets (and made up beds). Not to mention breakfast making, gardening and the host of other tasks involved in this endeavor of ours.

With the exception of about one week of painfully hot temperatures and humidity, our weather here was magnificent and I constantly remind myself of that when I look out the windows at the snow on the ground (though 40’s today and mostly melted).

I did have a way-too-short visit to Holyoke and Northampton the first week in November and expect to be back for another visit soon.

At any rate, hope to be back posting daily as of now.

So, how are things with you?
