Proposed St. Paul's Church at Holyoke

The members of St. Paul’s Episcopal church in Holyoke are rejoicing over the completion of the raising of the funds necessary for the erection of a fine new church and parish-house, the contract for which has been awarded to Frank H. Dibble of Holyoke. The picture accompanying this article shows the church as viewed from Appleton street, which runs in front of the main entrance. The street on the lower side is Linden, and on the upperside is Locust. Plans for a rectory will later be taken up, and the contract awarded. The church’s present property at the corner of Maple and Essex streets is to be sold. The former rectory was sold some months ago to Dr. F. F. Celce. The building committee consists of the rector, Rev. H. H. Morrill, whic is chairman, Edwin Burgin, the secretary, Lawyer A. L. Green, Samuel Snell, and Charles E. Mackintosh. The plans are by William Towner of Boston.
