Water Commissioners to Move Against John Boshan of Southampton.
The board of water commissioners met at o’clock yesterday afternoon and Chairman Carmody reported that the warrant had been secured against John Boshan of Southampton for maintaining a piggery on the watershed of the Femer reservoir, and the case will be heard Thursday. The trouble with Mr. Boshan has been going on for some time and the board have endeavored to come to a peaceful settlement, offering to remove the piggery at their own expense and to do other things if he would abate the trouble. Mr. Boshan, the chairman stated, at one time said that he would allow the city to carry our their plans and agreed to give up the nuisance, but later refuses, and the suit is the result. The watershed has been placed under the state board of health rules, and it is to enforce the rules that the action is taken.
