Note: I have a large collection of tombstone images taken in Holyoke cemeteries. Sometimes the stones make me curious to know more about the people they memorialize.

June 21, 1946

J. Edwin Randall of 424 Pleasant street, retires assistant treasurer of the Millers Falls Paper Co., with which he as associated for 42 years died at his home this morning after a short illness. Mr. Randall was born at Chicopee and came to this city with his parents when a boy. He was educated in the local schools. He was a member of the Second Baptist church. He leaves a sister Mrs. Robert S. parish of Van Nuys, Cal.; a nephew Stuart P. Randall of this city; four nieces, Mrs. Harold B. Schoenmehl and Miss Gladys Randall of this city; Mrs. Chester L. Lussier of Portland, Or., and Mrs. Ralph deAmond of Van Nuys. The funeral will be held at the Skinner Memorial chapel Saturday afternoon. Rev Daniel H. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Forestdale cemetery. The body may be seen at the Edward F. Fay funeral home until noon Saturday.
