John Miles of 612 Bridge Street died at 10 o’clock last evening. He was a retired watchman for the Springfield Blanket Mill. He leaves a widow and six sons, Walter of Great Barrington, James of Holyoke, John of Utica, NY, George of Holyoke, Gideon of Turners Falls, Robert of Holyoke, and a daughter Mrs. Sarah Simpson, and a sister, Mrs. James Roberton who lives in Scotland. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon, Rev. Dr. E. A. Reade officiating and the Caledonian Benefit Club will have charge of the burial.
