Holyoke Quads Very Good

Multiple births are not so unusual these days with advancement in fertility programs, but in 1961 this was natural and front page news. Over the years, the quadruplets were cause célèbre as evidenced by many published pictures and articles. I think this is great picture of the Raymond and Mary Feyre — you can search the Feyre name on eBay, it seems photos of the family are being sold there.

“One of them must have been hiding in that X-ray picture” a stunned Raymond Feyre of Holyoke tells his wife, Mary, shortly after she had given birth to quadruplets, two boys and two girls in Providence Hospital Wednesday. They had expected triplets.
