Archibald D. Hunter, who received an appointment to the naval academy, is 16 years old and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Hunter, his father being one of the letter carriers of the city. He was born in Holyoke and has always had a fine record in his studies; but he is a real live boy, nevertheless, and is manager of the Holyoke high School basketball team. He is a member of the Holyoke High School class of 1922. He fitted for high school at the Highlands grammar school.
