Mrs. Julia (Bloodgood) Schniewind, 77, died this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter F. Bachelder, of 2 Harvard Street, She was the widow of Max Schniewind whom she married at New York city in 1880, he being engaged as a silk manufacturer at the time. Three children were born: Rev. Harold Watson Schniewind who, until his death in 1917 was rector of St. Bartholomew’s church in Chicago, Mrs. Bachelder and John Schniewind of New York. Mrs. Schniewind was born in Whitestone, Long Island of William and Julia (Locke) Bloodgood, attended private schools and graduated from Bradford Academy in 1877. For years she lived at Brooklyn, N.Y., and was an attendant at Trinity Chapel. The funeral will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Friday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Franklin Knight will officiate and burial will be in Forestdale Cemetery.
