Holyoke, March 18 — Francis Hudson of 425 Britton St., Fairview, died at his home this evening. He was born in Pendelton, England and later moved to Bradford in that country. He came to this country when he was 14 and for the past 57 years had resided in Fairview. He was the son of the late Francis and Julia (Shore) Hudson.Mr. Hudson was formerly employed as a toolmaker and superintendent at the Corburn Trolley Co., this city. More recently he was engaged in poultry business in Fairview. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Holyoke, Sons of St. George and the Belcher Lodge of Masons, AF & AM. he was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Holyoke.
He leaves his wife, Agnes (Buss) Hudson, a brother, Fred Hudson of Windsor, Connecticut, a grand-daughter, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral arrangements are in charge of the Edward F. Day funeral home, this city.

10 February 1965 — Mrs. Francis Hudson
Chicopee — Mrs. Agnes (Buss) Hudson, 90, of 425 Britton St., Fairview, died Monday in a local nursing home. The widow of Francis Hudson, she was born in England December 25, 1874, daughter of John and Jane (Harling) Buss and came to this country in 1888. She had been a resident of Fairview for 75 years and was a member of Faith Methodist Church, Fairview, and George E. Fisher Chapter, OES, of South Hadley. She leaves a granddaughter, Nancy Hudson, of Fairview. the funeral will take place Thursday at 2 at the Edward F. Day funeral home. Rev. James Manning will officiate. Burial will be in Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours are tonight from 7 to 9.
