ICE CREAM CAKE.

One cup of sugar; one-half cup of butter; one-half cup of sweet milk; whites of four eggs; one and one-half cups of flour; two large tablespoonsful of corn starch; two teaspoonsful of baking powder in flour; make the yellow dough the same, using the yolks of the eggs; bake in jelly pans. Icing; one and one-half cups of sugar; one-half cup of water; let boil until thick; then beat whites of three eggs; stir in while hot; and then flavor with vanilla. — Mrs. A. E.
