April 12, 1940

C. Robert Wilhelm of 11 Charles street died this morning at Holyoke hospital. He was born in Saxony, Germany, March 2, 1867, and came to this country and city 61 years ago. He was employed for many years as master mechanic at the Livingston Worsted mill. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Frank Haarmann of this city and Miss Mabel Wilhelm at home; two sons, Frank E. of Denver Colorado, and Robert C. of Springfield and four grandchildren. He was a member of Holyoke Turnverein and Harmony lodge of Harl Garl society. The funeral will be held at Skinner Memorial chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with services by Rev. Albert J. Penner. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Until the time of the funeral the body will be at the Alger Funeral home.
