Walter Nimchick, 12, Has Leg and Wrist Broken —

Was Playing on Upper Porch

Walter Nimchick, 12, of 542 Summer street sustained a fractured right leg and a compound fracture of the right wrist together with a fractured nose just before supper time tonight when he fell from the second floor of the building in which he lives. Young Nimchick was playing with some companions on the back porch of the apartment block when he fell off the second floor piazza into the yard. His playmates notified the boy’s parents, who sent in an emergency call. Dr. E. F. Sullivan responded and had the boy removed to the Providence hospital, where his condition was reported tonight to be not very favorable.
