Children’s classics of the Holyoke Turnverein will present their annual Christmas play in the Bridge Street Turn Hall, Sunday night at 8. A large number will participate in the event and a large gathering is expected with admission free.

The play is entitled “The Rag Doll’s Christmas Eve,” with the scene a nursery. Ernest Rudolph, Jr., will be the piano accompanist.

The characters follow: Rag doll, Jane Martin; teddy bear, Henry Warburton; Gobo (Jack-in-the-box), John Regan; rubber doll, Marjorie Scheinost; girl doll, Phyllis Tuttle; boy doll, Elleen Jacobs; Japanese doll, Irene Pariseau; Dutch doll, Mary Ann Martin; spirit of Christmas, Gertrude Tuttle; Raggedy Ann, Laura Heinicke; Irish doll, Rita Engle; Scotch doll, Norma Giehler; bells, Dorothy Pariseau and Theresa Perron.
