Norm: I never thought to check, but a dealership in Holyoke would have made sense. At the moment, all I have at hand is a 1952 Holyoke phone book, which is a bit later than this ad, but your memory serves you well! There was a dealership — Holyoke Motorcycle Sales at 518 Main Street — unfortunately no display ad or mention of what kinds of motorcycles were sold there, but I bet you are correct that Indian was one of the brands!

By the way — the phone book has 15 entries with your surname!
