Summer Cottage Built By Israel Epstein at Hampton Ponds

Holyoke, September 11 — While general building at Holyoke has been slack there has been a large amount of cottage building at Hampton ponds which was never in a more prosperous condition. Buildings as soon as erected are easily rented. The tendency the past few years has been to erect more “round-the-year” homes but the summer cottage for summer only is yet greatly in the lead. A simple and not expensive type is the one shown in the picture, one like it being glimpsed in the rear. These with half a score of others have been built this year by Israel Epstein, who has the largest single holdings of land and cottages at the ponds.
