Obituary and Funerals.
Body of William Alexander Recovered.
The body of William Alexander, who was drowned in the river near the Chemical paper mill Tuesday , was recovered yesterday afternoon where he sank. The accident occurred near the tail race of the mill and the strong current carried the body out into the stream. Inspector Maurice O’Connor brought the body to the shore, where it was viewed by Medical Examiner Holyoke. Later it was removed to Alger’s undertaking rooms. The funeral will be held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Alexander, 512 Summer street, this afternoon at 3, Rev. E. B. Robinson officiating. The burial will be in the village cemetery in South Hadley.
