In Precious Blood Church at Holyoke
Miss Stella Boucher, the daughter of Victor Boucher of Holyoke, and Hermas Fleury of Aldenville, son of Mederic Fleury, for the past 20 years an overseer in the Springfield blanket company, were married at 9 yesterday morning in the church of the Precious Blood by Rev. J. H. Desrouchers. The church was decorated for the occasion and during the ceremony music was furnished by Mr. Packet on the Violin and Miss La Porte on the organ. The bridge was attended by young women from the St. Marie society, of which she is a member. They were Remazie Mation, Alice Carrier, Pulcherie Fleury, and Delia Meunier. The bride wore a white silk dress and a veil. Her maids were attired in white Mousseline eu suisse. About 250 guests were present. Following the ceremony was a breakfast at the home of the bride’s father, and later a dinner at the home of Mr. Fleury on Grattan street, Aldenville. In the evening a dance and reception were held in the Aldenville hall, at which many were present. Refreshments were served and Monet’s orchestra of Chicopee furnished music. Among those present were Mayor Loomis of Chicopee, Aldermen Nantais, Mahoney and Rivers of Chicopee, J. J. Reddy, Daniel Driscoll, Contractor Young of Willimansett, Dr. Marin, Dr. Cloutier, A. R. Vincent, Alderman Potvin of Holyoke, Albert Cote of Chicopee Falls, overseers of the Springfield Blanket Company. O. Z. F. Charest of Holyoke, O. Ranger of Springfield. The young couple were the recipients of many presents, among which was a table given by circle Rochambeau of Holyoke, of which the groom is a member. The couple will reside at 352 Main street, Holyoke.
