Henry Butcher, whose sign, “Butcher, the Grocer,” has often been commented upon, today completed 40 years of business in this city. He first opened a store at 405 Main street, bear Hamilton street, in 1891. He later moved to 398 High street, where he was located for 10 years. Then he bought the two story building at 410 High street where he remained until 1913 when he moved to Maple and Appleton streets. Five years ago he took over his present location.
