The Holyoke auxiliary of the Hampden County Children’s Aid Association met yesterday afternoon and elected the following officers for the year: President, Mrs. C. L. Frink; vice-president, Mrs. William Skinner and Mrs. F. H. Metcalf; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. G. H. Richards; board of managers, Miss Angelina Worswick, Mrs. W. W. Ward, Mrs. C. L. Drink, Mrs. William Skinner, Mrs. R. B. Johnson, Mrs. James Cowan, Mrs. Martha Wilson, Mrs. F. H. Metcalf, Mrs. C. H. Richards, Mrs. C. B. Prescott, Mrs. G. W. Cook, Mrs. J. S. Webber, Mrs. Charles Short, Mrs. R. T. Prentiss, Mrs. L. S. Whitcomb, Miss Ellen Ives, Mrs. James Jolly, Mrs. R. D. Chapin and Mrs. M. S. S. Moriarty; honorary managers, Mrs. William Whiting, Mrs. M. W. Prentiss, Mrs. C. W. Ranlet, Mrs. Sarah E. Pearsons, Mrs. James Ramage and Mrs. Charlotte F. Chase; delegates to Springfield, Mrs. C. L. Frink and Mrs. C. H. Richards. It was voted to send $250 to the treasurer in Springfield. The association is caring for over 300 children in the county at present. Oaf these there are 118 in Holyoke. The record last year shows the number brought before the court 42, number pending for final disposition 16, number turned over to the state board of charity 12, taken care of in the country 13, taken care of by the St. Vincent de Paul society 33, remaining with parents or relatives 45.
