But Men Are Frightened Away Before They Can Rob Frank Weiner at His Store on Park Street

An unknown man entered the delicatessen store of Frank Weiner of 275 Park Street about 11:20 last night, and pulling a gun on Weiner, ordered him to get upon the counter. Weiner obeyed promptly, but at about the same time the sign was given by two men outside who had seen Patrolman Eger coming down the street.

The man quickly ran out and joined his two companions and footed it down the street and disappeared. All three wore handkerchiefs over their faces and Weiner is unable to identify the man who entered the store. It is probable that the three men were the same ones who locked Edward Kudla of 31 Chestnut Street in his own icebox the night before last and robbed his cash drawer of $200.

Patrolman Eger reported the case to the police station promptly, but there is small chance of the men being apprehended.
