Otho R. Brown, for many years in the clothing business in Holyoke and this city, died yesterday at Stafford Springs, CT, where he was engaged in he same business. Mr. Brown in company with A. D. Brown, ran a clothing store under the firm name of Brown Bros. on High street for man years. About 1886 he bought out Charles D. Woodson and after the store on High street was abandoned to make room for a 5 and 10 cent store he was in the Whitcomb building on Dwight Street for a number of months. This was in 1899, and after the Windsor Hotel fire he removed to Springfield where he had a clothing store on Main Street. From there he moved to Stafford Springs, CT. He leaves a son and a daughter, his wife dying a short time ago. The body will be taken to Holyoke tonight and the funeral will be held tomorrow at 1 Highland Avenue.
