Johnson’s Block

by Laurel | February 22nd, 2013

Posting this today because of the beautiful building in the 1882 ad for Fire and Life Insurance, located in “Johnson’s Block,” 199 High Street in Holyoke. Holyoke Savings Bank is barely legible in the image, in addition to the  insurance company office. Haven’t learned much about this building … anyone know anything about it? Click on the image to view a larger version.
