Judgement for the plaintiff was entered Saturday in the ejectment suit of Abraham Silverman against Oliver Marcoux. Marcoux was given a week last Friday to find a new tenement.
Intentions of marriage have been filed at the city clerk’s office of Stuart F. Heinritz of 16 Washington Avenue and Freda Ricker of 346 Maple street; Arnold Twist of 447 High Street and Ida M. Wilkinson Feugel of 65 Tannery Street, Methuen.
The cast for “The Shamrock and the Rose,” the Irish play that is to be presented under the auspices of Holyoke council, Knights of Columbus, the 17th, is as follows: Barney O’Brady, Robert Alben; Sargeant Fitzgerald, Dr. P. H. Payton; Shaum Carey, John E. Callahan; Capt. Beck, Walter Moynihan; Lieut. Douglass, John S. Begley; Rose Fitzgerald, May Manley; Eileen O’Rourke, Bessie Sullivan; Nano Demond, Anna McTiernan. John J. Sheehan is directing the rehearsals and the committee in charge consists of Fred Donahue, John J. Sheehan, Robert S. Burns and Robert Alben.
The Holyoke Harmonious Aid Society sold Saturday the real estate on the easterly side of Park Street, 347 feet south of Sargeant Street, to Stanley and Joseph Szewezuk, John Fesko, John Duda, Andrew Babyok and Elias Procyshyn, all of Holyoke.
A building permit was issued Saturday to Harriet Kagwin for an addition to a frame house at 135 Beech Street to cost about $400.
