23 December 1925
Boston, December 22 — Joseph Leonard, T. Fred Vigneux and Joseph Beauregard, all of Holyoke, will have a quantity of very good liquor handed back to them as sort of a Christmas present, under an order handed down in the federal court here today by Judge E. H. Brewster.
The liquor was seized December 4, 1923, and has been the object of much litigation. A year ago Judge Brewster ordered the liquor given back, but the government appealed. The appeals court upheld Judge Brewster’s decision and sent the case back to him for disposition. He disposed of it by reissuing his former order. Cognac, whiskey, gin, ale and beer are included in the lot.
