Holyoke High School Track, 1935

Under the tutelage and watchful eyes of Coach “Danny” Regan, the track team is rapidly being molded into a formidable organization. Several dual meets have been scheduled, and the team, led by Captain “Louie” Gonnella gives promise of showing up well. With such men as Captain Gonnella, “Charlie” Bridges, “Charlie” Griffin, and “Dave” Lally to form a nucleus for the team, Coach Regan hopes to turn out a fine squad for competition. It is to be hoped when the season comes to a close that Holyoke High, as in former years, will merit a high rating in sectional honors.
