Jimmy Cebula of Holyoke

Jimmy Cebula of Holyoke

Jimmy Cebula of 77 Walnut Street, freckled hiker, is our Holyoke student vacationer today. The lad had just returned from the Mount Tom Reservation when Union Photographer Max Kotfila took his picture, explaining the pack and canteen. Jimmy’s getting a big bang out of vacation and, he says, is content to “swim and take it easy/” He did turn to and help on a fruit truck earlier in the summer, but found the life of leisure much easier to take. Uniforms are going to play a big part in the life of this St. Jerome’s fifth grader, who plans to join the Boy Scouts when 12 — he’s 11 now — and the Navy when he reaches enlistment age.
